Founder and Managing Partner
Michael is Co-Owner and Managing Partner of Kingdom Architects. He holds an MBA in Finance and is a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor. With more than 30 years of experience in global capital markets and corporate banking, he has managed over $10 billion in institutional assets and built high-performance executive teams.
Michael also founded an developed a successful retail company in the outdoor industry, culminating in a sale to private equity. In addition, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Baptist University, where he teaches Entrepreneurial Capital. His passion is equipping the next generation of entrepreneurs. Michael and his wife have been married for more than 30 years and have two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys travel and outdoor hunting sports.
Bren Brown
Managing Partner
Bren brings more than 30 years of fundraising experience and holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri. She has successfully secured millions of dollars for organizations in both secular and faith-based sectors around the world.
In addition to her fundraising career, Bren co-founded a retail brand that expanded to five locations before being acquired by a private equity group. Her passion is helping churches and businesses reach their full potential through strategic growth, financial clarity, and aligned vision. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, creating art, writing, running, and reading.


Jason Wagner
Managing Director
Jason serves as the Managing Director and is a seasoned executive with years of experience in leadership roles, consistently delivering exceptional results in revenue growth and operational efficiency. Holding a Master of Business Administration, he has a proven track record of leading high-performance teams, driving significant annual revenue, and implementing strategic business movements.
Jason is recognized for his expertise in team leadership, new business development, and optimizing organizational processes. He lives in Kansas with his wife and two children, where family life includes a full calendar of youth sports and activities.
Don Bisbee
Senior Advisor
With a a passion for growth, innovation, and scale, Don has spent more than 25 years at the intersection of healthcare and technology. He understands changing healthcare trends in the provider, payor and technology realms and is able to help companies pinpoint where innovation and action can create opportunity. He brings deep experience in market and product strategy, organizational structure and efficiency, partner and channel development, as well as how to scale for transformation and growth.
Don has been married for 25 years and has two sons, both Eagle Scouts and now in college. Don is an elder in his church and enjoys time with his family hunting, snow skiing, trail riding and relaxing at the lake.


James Hwang

With over 25 years of experience in executive management and private equity, James specializes in helping businesses redesign and grow. His expertise spans mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, financial restructuring, compliance, cybersecurity, product development, sales and channel development, and engineering delivery workflow design. He has a deep understanding of the Financial, Retail, MDI, and Healthcare markets.
James and his wife have two children and reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Tony Henry

Tony is a CPA with over 30 years of financial and operational experience in the energy, commercial construction, manufacturing, and hospitality industries. He has strong abilities to recognize, create and execute plans, supervise teams, and recommend appropriate action. Tony has consulted with numerous clients to evaluate business processes to determine compliance with management policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. As a former CFO, his experience underscore’s reliability and integrity of financial information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such information.
Tony lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife and 2 children.

As the founder and CEO of Katalyst Group, Tate has led complex business transformations, scaling operations and delivering measurable improvements across customer experience, employee experience, and owner outcomes.
Tate’s work focuses on identifying structural and operational constraints, designing repeatable systems, and driving execution with disciplined cadence and clarity. With deep experience advising owners and executive teams, he combines analytical rigor with pragmatic execution grounded in real-world operating experience and a belief that communities are stronger when business owners are truly thriving.
Tate lives in Kansas City with his wife and son, and when not working, can often be found outdoors or barreling down a mountain on bicycles.
Jeff Hinds

Jeff Hinds is a senior operations and supply chain leader with more than 25 years of experience stabilizing, scaling, and optimizing food and consumer packaged goods businesses. He brings deep expertise across manufacturing, distribution, food safety, and quality systems, with a hands-on, execution-focused leadership style.
Jeff has held senior operating roles with companies including Pillsbury, General Mills, Vital Farms, Sweet Loren’s, Smallhold, and Spicin Foods, as well as multiple early-stage and high-growth brands. His experience spans multi-site operations, co-manufacturer oversight, facility startups, and end-to-end supply chain optimization.
With more than a decade in Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Jeff has built HACCP- and GFSI-compliant programs, led FDA audits and registrations, and ensured regulatory and customer compliance across fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable categories.
A proven entrepreneur and retired professional athlete, Jeff brings an owner mindset and people-first leadership approach grounded in accountability, trust, and disciplined execution.


Chris Wall

Dr. Chris Wall brings more than 30 years of ministry experience marked by biblical conviction, Spirit-led leadership, and a deep love for the local church. He earned his BA in Bible from Oklahoma Baptist University, his Master’s in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Chris serves as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Owasso (FBC Owasso), where he leads with a commitment to biblical faithfulness, generational discipleship, and mission-focused ministry. His passion is helping people know God and follow Jesus – here, there, and everywhere – equipping believers to live on mission in their homes, communities, and world.
At Kingdom Architects, Chris serves as theological advisor to the church advisory vertical, bringing pastoral wisdom and doctrinal clarity to strategic ministry conversations.
Beyond the local church, Chris has served as President of Oklahoma Baptists and served as the Vice Chair of the International Missions Board in the last year of his 8 year term on the Board of Trustees. He is passionate about mobilizing churches to invest faithfully in God’s work among the nations. Known for collaboration, integrity, and clear vision, Chris communicates timeless biblical truth in a way that connects with people at every stage of life. Outside of ministry, he enjoys time with his family and a competitive game of tennis.
Kennedy Brown
Associate
Kennedy supports Kingdom Architect’s M&A efforts with a focus on transactional execution, due diligence review, and business development. She earned her BA in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and began her career at Haynes and Boone, LLP, where she assisted in patent prosecution within the Intellectual Property division.
She resides in Dallas, TX, and is an active member of Providence Church in Frisco, where she serves in the children’s ministry. Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys CorePower yoga, reading, and spending time with her English Bulldog, Mr. Carl.
